ChakSeng Lam is a highly accomplished jazz saxophonist and flutist hailing from Macau. He holds a Master's degree from the Royal Conservatory of The Hague, where he received the prestigious 'Dutch Excellence full scholarship'. ChakSeng's musical journey began at the School of Music of Macao Conservatory, and since then, he has made a significant impact on the jazz scene.

With his versatile musicality, ChakSeng effortlessly navigates through various genres, including classical, jazz, and Latin. His influences range from legendary saxophonists like Michael Brecker and Joe Henderson. Over the years, he has developed a unique and captivating personal style that combines expressiveness, drama, and a touch of gentleness.

ChakSeng's talent has taken him to stages across Western Europe, Southeast Asia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. He has shared the spotlight with renowned musicians such as Alex Sipiagin, Eric Alexander, Vincent Herring, and Stefan Karlsson, among others. As a member of the esteemed "New Lingnan Quartet," he collaborated with three jazz teachers from Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou, China, releasing the album "A Mobile Courtyard" in August 2019, which gained recognition from the University of Hartford in the United States.

In May 2022, ChakSeng recorded his debut album alongside acclaimed Dutch musicians Eric Ineke and Rob van Bavel, as well as Cypress musician Kyriacos Kesta. The album is set to be released in the upcoming year, showcasing ChakSeng's exceptional artistry and musical prowess.

ChakSeng's contributions extend beyond his performances. He is the visionary behind the "Jam Session Station" jazz educational program, attracting attention from the modern and pop music circles during its three consecutive summers at Macau Ka Wan Piano Company.
