Eva & Sin
Music Duet

China / Macau

Eva & Sin is a musical duo comprised of a married couple from Macau, currently residing in Portugal and Dali. Their style primarily revolves around jazz and its subgenre, Latin jazz, particularly Bossa Nova. In addition to their original songs, they also enjoy performing fresh interpretations of classic works by the father of Bossa Nova, Antônio Carlos Jobim, in the Portuguese language. Their music blends the rhythms of Bossa Nova with the cool jazz of the United States, creating a light, comfortable, and romantically atmospheric sound. They are also skilled at adapting Mandarin classic songs, resonating with various audiences.

The music of Eva & Sin is characterized by a Southern European flair and the vacation ambiance of the Rio de Janeiro coast. Whether performing Bossa Nova classics or reimagining Mandarin-language classics, they skillfully infuse Samba rhythms and joy into their compositions through professional instrumental and vocal techniques. Listeners often find themselves immersed in a sense of flowing and healing life, allowing them to engage with the world and others more openly. The duo has been mentored by Claudio Kumar, a Brazilian-Portuguese world music artist, and has collaborated with musicians from around the world, including saxophonist Thomas Ralph from the United States, flautist Thomas Dodd from England, and soul jazz drummer Les Fong from Hawaii. Eva & Sin's performances embody a harmonious fusion of music and lifestyle that resonates perfectly with Bossa Nova. Their music is widely regarded as joyful and uplifting, bringing a sense of beauty to the listeners' lives. Eva's vocals, at times languid and soft, and at times lively and playful, add to the relaxation and enjoyment of their music.

The duo is frequently invited to perform at music festivals, cultural events, business receptions, private parties of domestic and international celebrities, as well as weddings. They are proficient in singing in Portuguese, English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
