Rita Cerqueira Portela is an experienced architect and cross genre singer. Her musical focus includes Jazz, Bossa Nova, Fado and indie pop/rock etc. Rita quickly became an active member of the music scene since she moved to Macau in 2015. As a regular guest singer, Rita performed with different groups/musicians in multiple local festivals such as Lusofonia, Macau Performative Arts Festival and Hush festival and more. As a multilingual, Rita’s repertoire includes works in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin, Japanese and Portuguese. Rita is the lead singer of Dat Trio, Groove Ensemble 2, If Monsters were Men, Mojazz and Mojo.
